President Trump recently gave the green light to the Keystone Pipeline. If we had a president from 2009-2017 who believed in the safety of the pipeline, this would have been finished a long time ago. Having oil transported via rail lines creates problems — it’s called derailment. In the 1970s, some 40 years ago, we built the Alaska Pipeline. The safety record is outstanding.
