Trump is ‘Wicked Wizard of Ills’

I stand in utter amazement and total disbelief that a substantial number of the American electorate have ignorantly and unwittingly cast their ballots for a would-be despot.

The handwriting is on the wall — but they are unable to read it, are blind to it, refuse to look at it, or don’t understand it. You would think that history would have taught its sorrowful lesson, but right before our eyes mechanisms are being put into place to excise freedom from the land of the free.

Our leader-to-be idolizes Putin and thinks he is a great leader, i.e. he wants to be just like him. Ready-made scapegoats are set to be blamed for the miseries of his constituency.

Many advocate giving him a chance, but I believe he will use this opportunity to cause heads to spin — and then it will be too late. Just look at his proposed cabinet appointments: billionaires, racists, and bigots.

In the movie “The Wizard of Oz,” the “Great and Powerful” wizard was revealed to be a fake. But he was only a harmless fictional character.

This “wizard” has real power. He is dangerous and devious, clever and cunning, fallacious and fork-tongued. He himself has stated that he no longer needs votes — and his repeated campaign slogans have served their purpose and are no longer necessary.

With Trump there is no truth. He is not the “Wonderful Wizard of Oz.” He is the Wicked Wizard of Ills, and the worst is yet to come.
