Forget about the Constitution. Burning the flag is an environmental hazard
With all the talk about burning the flag going around, I thought I’d just like to add my view.
While it is your First Amendment right to burn the flag, I believe it’s disrespectful so I make the suggestion to people who are against burning the flag.
Although you cannot arrest and prosecute someone for burning the symbol of out country, flags are made out of polyester, which is a cancer-causing agent when burnt. So it might not be against U.S. law, it is definitely against environmental regulations and there are consequences for that.
