It’s Thanksgiving time once again and the perfect time of year for me to once again say “thanks” to our Friends of Scouting for all your continued support (both in volunteering time and financial assistance) for over 1,400 youth participating in our Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing programs in Manatee County.

Please know and appreciate that we couldn’t do this without you. May you and yours be especially blessed during this holiday season.

Rod Urban, chairman, Manatee District-Southwest Council, Boy Scouts of America
