Reject solar power amendment
On the solar power amendment: So who do you think are paying for all the “Vote yes on Amendment 1” promotions. The power companies.
Yes, that’s right, and why would they be doing that? Easy, this amendment isn’t worded as well as in most other states that voted for solar power. We will be one of the few states that don’t require the power companies to buy back any excess power you generate.
That’s what the power company lobby goons have worked out with the politicians. Just like when we got Obamacare rammed on us with no time to read what was in it! You just had to know at the time that if the huge insurance companies were all for it that we were getting the short end.
If they would have been screaming “no, no you can’t do that ... it’s not fair to our company,” we would have been in a better place today. All those promises — you can keep your doctor, you can take your plan with you — have gone out the window. And costs and deductibles have gone so high no one can afford it, except the folks who have the taxpayers paying for their coverage. About every month, you see another company just deciding to pull out of the plan.
