Fire North Carolina teacher who desecrated flag

I am nauseated by the actions of a teacher who feels he must desecrate the Flag of our great country. He teaches at a school in close proximity of Fort Bragg, N.C. Fort Bragg is the home of the 82nd Airborne Division, which my husband was a part of after he was graduated from West Point.

He threw the Stars and Stripes on the floor and stomped on it. He also asked his class if they had a lighter so he could burn it. Now, I am sure this young man went to college, graduated, and landed a nice job with the school system. Was there something else he wanted?

My husband and son both died for our country and I am livid that this person is allowed to do such a thing under his First Amendment rights. I understand he has been put on leave; not good enough. he should have been fired and then taken to jail wrapped in the Flag.

I do hope he is never reinstated as a teacher. He is shameful!
