I am a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving back in the early 1960s. Back then, before each day started in high school and grade school, we all stood with right hands on our hearts and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag.

Several years ago, this ritual had been removed in our public schools because our idiots in the Supreme Court found it to be disrespectful for those who came here from different cultures. They didn’t want to offend them.

I have one rule: You come over here to our country, you do as we do or get out and stay out. You learn our language, respect our laws and obey our rules.

Anyone entering our country before they are allowed to stay longer than 60 days must prove they have a place to live, a job and are able to support themselves. If not, they must return immediately to where they came from.

With over $19 trillion debt, our country can no longer support refugees from other countries regardless of where they are from. “Why is it that we have to accept people we don’t want to accept, but they don’t have to accept us for not wanting to accept them?”

I am totally disgusted with these players in the NFL who will not stand for the national anthem. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is the biggest joke the NFL has ever had. These players should all show respect for our flag and country. If not, get out and stay out. Go live in Iran. When did asserting your freedoms give you the right to be disrespectful?

I just arrived back from a three-week visit to Europe and, believe me, they have problems as well. You better think twice before casting your ballot on Election Day. The future of our children and grandchildren is at stake.
