Political scandals unmask Democrats
The latest scandal with the email leaks from the Democratic National Party certainly support the idea by Bernie and Trump that the political system is rigged. As the emails prove, big donors reap full benefits with being cozy with the president as well as being able to demand and get whatever they want. Also, and far more important, only the well-connected elite need to apply for support by the Party.
This certainly seems strange as the Democrats have long touted their support of the everyday man, that they are the champion of the underdog, and that they have always put the interests of the people first before anything else. One more fairytale that is very far from the truth!
The scandal lends credence to the belief that Hillary was told by the Democratic Party that if she stepped aside to support Obama, it would be her turn to be the chosen in 2016. The emails from the Democratic leadership support the idea that Bernie Sanders was an impediment and that he never had any chance at the nomination. Unfortunately, the voters did not know that and they turned out in droves to support Bernie in spite of the roadblocks the party threw up to block Bernie.
The strangest thing of all is that after Chairman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz disgraced herself in this new national scandal at the party is that Hillary has hired her to work on her campaign. It looks like Hillary is quite comfortable with scandals having gone through so many over the years. Adding Debbie to her team does not seem to matter to Hillary in the trust and honesty category as Hillary already does not have any to worry about.
