Bradenton is in for more rain, and then cool weather is coming. Here’s the forecast
Bradenton could see its first autumn dip into the 50s next week with a cold front predicted to drop temperatures and lower humidity, according to the National Weather Service.
This week, the Bradenton area and Southwest Florida have experienced storms and severe weather, including strong winds, rip currents and a tornado watch for the region that is in effect until 3 p.m. Thursday. Multiple tornadoes touched down in west Florida overnight, The Weather Channel reported.
More scattered storms are predicted over the next few days before the cool front arrives, NWS says.
A partial solar eclipse will also be visible in Florida this weekend.

Partial solar eclipse visible in Florida Saturday
In celestial news, a solar eclipse will happen Saturday, according the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
It’s an annual eclipse that happens when the sun, moon and Earth perfectly align, and it darkens skies from Oregon to Texas, NOAA says.
It will be partially visible in Florida from 10:30 a.m. to 3:13 p.m., according to timeanddate.com. You can also watch it live on NOAA’s website.
