According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at around 10 a.m., the driver lost control on a curve and overturned on Buckingham Road approaching Gunnery Road.
Nearby security video captured the crash, which the FHP posted on Twitter. In the clip, large white tanker skids, rolls over, then erupts in flames as two men tumble out from the cab and run for their lives.
The oil gushed out of the truck and onto the road. Talk about slippery driving conditions.

The FHP tweeted that the accident could have been “much worse,” and used the opportunity to alert people to wear their seat belts as the vehicle’s occupants (the driver, age 22, and passenger, 33) were not.
According to local TV station WINK News, the cause of the crash is unclear, but the 22-year-old driver was determined to be at fault. He will be responsible financially for cleaning up the mess, authorities say.
