Reward offered for info on missing Edgewater man

My News 13

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the search for a missing Edgewater man.

Stephen Paoletti, 44, has been missing since May 30, when he last made contact with a friend via text.

According to family members, failing to make contact is highly out of character for Paoletti, and they have hired an investigator to help locate him.

Officials said his vehicle is still at his residence, and his cellphone goes straight to voice mail.

Paoletti is a private investigator and former Central Florida police officer, and his family believes foul play is suspected.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to his whereabouts.

Stephen is 6-feet tall, 180 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He also has a small scar on his forehead and speaks with a slight stutter.
