PHOTO GALLERY: Thousands of bikers ride through Manatee for 9/11
MANATEE -- Thousands of bikers gathered Sunday for Manatee County’s Fifth Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ride, which began in the parking lot of the sheriff’s office, and ended at Coquina Beach. The riders represented dozens of clubs from throughout the state, including the Blue Knights, Patriot Guard and others. They gathered under an American flag, flown at half-staff in tribute to those who were murdered 10 years ago.
