These cookies or ‘breakfast sandwiches’ are recalled from Walmart stores, other spots

Monday, Mondelēz Global recalled all of the cookie-like belVita Dark Chocolate Creme and Cinnamon Brown Sugar with Vanilla Creme breakfast sandwiches with best by dates on or before Feb. 25, 2024.

The company did this after a manufacturing boo-boo created a possibly serious food allergy problem.

These two “products may contain undeclared peanut resulting from cross-contact on a single manufacturing line,” said the company-written, FDA-posted recall notice. “People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanut may risk serious or life-threatening allergic reactions by consuming these products.”
