Local legislators earn "A" on Florida Chamber's 2016 Legislative Report Card

TALLAHASSEE -- The Florida Chamber's 2016 Legislative Report Card announced a list of 31 legislators Thursday who earned an "A" in the Tampa Bay area. The list includes Sen. Bill Galvano, R-Bradenton, Rep. Jim Boyd, R-Bradenton, and Rep. Greg Steube, R-Sarasota.

Boyd was also honored with a 2016 Florida Chamber Distinguished Advocate award for fighting "for economic development efforts that would help create jobs and diversify Florida's economy."
