Presidential candidate Ben Carson draws huge crowd to Sarasota book-signing event

MANATEE -- Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson is in Sarasota on Wednesday afternoon as part of a book tour.

A large crowd gathered outside a downtown Sarasota bookstore for the chance to meet the campaign front runner.

Carson is greeting the public and signing  his new book: "A More Perfect Union: What We the People Can Do to Reclaim Our Constitutional Liberties."

He will visit Sarasota from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bookstore1, 1359 Main St.

Purchase of Carson's book at Bookstore1 is required for admission to the book signing.
