Vice President Mike Pence to visit Sarasota next week for Trump campaign event

Vice President Mike Pence will visit Sarasota next week as the third announced stop on his “Faith in America Tour.”

The event, sponsored by the Trump for President campaign, will take place at 11:30 a.m. July 2 at the Sarasota Event Center, 600 N. Beneva Road, Sarasota.

Tickets are free and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two per mobile number.

The registration form includes an acknowledgment of the “inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place” and waives the Trump campaign and venue of an liability in event of a guest’s illness or injury.

Vice President Pence kicked off the series of faith-based rallies last week in Pewaukee, Wis., this week. Another event is scheduled for Tuesday in Tuscon, Ariz.

A virtual event titled “Faith in America: Evangelicals for Trump,” will be held online on Saturday, according to the Trump campaign website.
