A woman was arrested after being accused of setting her neighbor’s front door on fire, Maryland officials said.

On July 3, the woman, later identified as 51-year-old Janice Oney, went to her neighbor’s Salisbury home and demanded the $7 he owed her, according to an Aug. 2 news release by the Maryland State Fire Marshal.

The two got into an argument and Oney left, before returning with a bottle of gasoline and setting his home’s door on fire, officials said.

Then she fled the area on a bicycle, officials said.

Surveillance footage helped connect Oney to the fire, and on Aug. 1 she was arrested on charges of arson, malicious burning, malicious destruction of property over $1,000, reckless endangerment and theft under $100, officials said.

Salisbury is about a 120-mile drive southeast from Baltimore.
