Accused road rage shooter fires at family after they get Chick-fil-A, TX cops say
A mom and her two daughters had just picked up Chick-fil-A when a man opened fire on their vehicle, Texas deputies said.
A passenger in a black truck shot at the mother as she drove in San Antonio, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said in a May 30 Facebook post.
The suspected road rage shooter, identified as 20-year-old Layne Reynolds, and a driver in a truck then followed the family, according to deputies.
The two stopped and got out of their vehicle. Then, one pointed a gun at the mother, according to deputies.
Deputies said they found multiple shell casings on the road.
Reynolds was arrested on May 29 on multiple felony warrants and taken to the Bexar County jail. He is held on a $75,000 bond.
