A masked intruder woke a 75-year-old woman in the middle of the night and told her to get on her stomach, police in Arizona said.

The intruder said “he wanted money and bound her wrists and ankles with duct tape,” the Bullhead City Police Department said in an April 15 post on Facebook.

He then “reportedly stole cash from her purse and left,” police said.

The man clad in dark clothes “did not indicate he had a weapon,” according to police.

The woman was alone at home during the April 15 incident, which happened at about 3:30 a.m., police said. The woman got free from the duct tape and called for help, according to police, adding the woman wasn’t seriously hurt.

Bullhead City is about a 230-mile drive northwest from Phoenix.
