Shelter pup can be ‘dog of your dreams’ — if you don’t mind spit bubbles. Meet Manny
An adorable dog has a very original way of showing how happy he is at a shelter in Michigan — but it may be a little messy.
Manny is a 6-year-old mixed breed whose heart is as big as his body, according to the Capital Arena Humane Society in Lansing.
“Are you ready to meet the dog of your dreams? This sweet fella is a bundle of charm and will capture your heart in an instant,” the shelter said in a Nov. 11 Facebook post. “Manny’s an affectionate guy and is happiest when he’s by your side, leaning in for all the pets, especially ear rubs and those oh-so-satisfying butt scratches.”
However, the sweet boy has a wet way of expressing his happiness.
“Manny has an endearing knack for making spit bubbles. But his drool isn’t just drool — it’s a statement! When he’s especially happy, he’ll grace you with some slobbery love,” the shelter expressed.
“You can’t help but smile when he leans in for pets, and suddenly there’s a tiny bubble floating off his jowls. It’s his unique, drooly way of adding a little extra charm to your day.”
Despite his cute bubble habits, he’s an extremely well-behaved dog with the manners of a gentleman.
“This adorable guy is house-trained, knows how to sit, and has impeccable leash manners. Manny makes every casual walk an enjoyable adventure as he explores and sniffs the world around him,” the shelter said.
“Are you ready to make Manny a part of your family? Come on by and let us introduce you to this paw-fect pooch.”
