Three days after a mother mysteriously went missing in Texas, her husband has been arrested, according to investigators and news reports.

Brad Simpson, who WOA and KSAT reported is the husband of missing realtor Suzanne Clark Simpson, was booked into the Kendall County jail on Oct. 9, records show.

The 53-year-old husband is charged with assault causing bodily injury-family violence and unlawful restraint, according to jail records. It’s unclear how or if his charges relate to his missing wife.

Suzanne Simpson, 51, “possibly” was wearing a black dress with black heels when she was last seen Sunday, Oct. 6, according to the City of Alamo Heights.

She is described as 5 feet, 5 inches, 140 pounds and has brown hair with hazel eyes.

Authorities say Suzanne Simpson went missing after attending a party at The Argyle in the Alamo Heights neighborhood of San Antonio, according to MySanAntonio.com. The Argyle is described as a private fine-dining club.

Olmos Park officers were being assisted in the investigation by state authorities, according to KENS. Crews was seen searching near Simpson’s home Tuesday night, the station reported.

“We want to cover ground as much and as fast as we can so nothing gets cold or if she is injured or something, that we can get to her before she’s incapacitated,” Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Deon Cockrell told KENS.. “Or, worst case, somewhat further away.”

Suzanne Simpson, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, is a realtor for Nix Realty Co. According to her profile on her company’s website, she is a mother of four who is “very involved” in her children’s school and sports.

Anyone with information about the missing mother’s whereabouts is asked to contact Olmos Park police at 210-219-2702 or 210-209-2701.
