18-year-old wakes up to a stranger masturbating in front of her, Washington cops say
An 18-year-old woman woke up to a stranger masturbating in front of her in Washington, police said.
Police responded to a burglary call at about 5:45 a.m. on Sept. 17, the Bellevue Police Department said in a probable cause statement.
A resident left the apartment unlocked to go on a walk and a 30-year-old man walked into the home, police said.
He started masturbating in front of a sleeping woman, waking her up, police said.
The residents inside the apartment asked him to leave, but he raised a clenched fist, so they hid in a room and called authorities, police said.
He then grabbed some drinks from the refrigerator and fell asleep on a bed in the living room, police said.
He was arrested and charged with residential burglary and indecent exposure.
Bellevue is about a 10-mile drive east from Seattle.
