Nothing Bundt Cakes teams with Pop-Tarts for new limited-time cake. When can you get it?
Noting Bundt Cakes is launching a limited-time flavor featuring a breakfast favorite.
Starting Aug. 19, cake lovers can get their first forkful of the new Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts cake, while supplies last, according to the Texas-based bakery chain.
Nothing Bundt Cakes and Kellanova, parent company of Pop-Tarts and other snack brands, teamed up for the unique flavor featuring strawberry cake baked with frosted strawberry Pop-Tart pieces.
The treat is topped with frosting, confetti sprinkles and a bite-sized strawberry breakfast pastry, according to a product description.
“Our collaboration with Pop-Tarts brings a classic, nostalgic taste to our Bundtlets,” Claire Jessen, Nothing Bundt Cakes vice president of culinary, said in a news release. The “flavor is reminiscent of coming home from school hungry and grabbing a satisfying, sweet little treat from the pantry to keep you happy ‘til dinner.”
The new cake is available as a personal-sized bundtlet at Nothing Bundt Cakes bakeries nationwide through Sept. 1. Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
It’s just the latest pop-up flavor offered by the bakery chain.
Previous limited-time flavors have included churro dulce de leche, pineapple upside down and a Bundtlet Full O’ Reese’s Pieces.
