A woman counted dozens of prizes on a lottery game in Maryland and showed her winning ticket to her husband.

“I was shocked,” the man told lottery officials in a June 25 news release.

She had scored $50,000, leaving both of them in disbelief.

The woman from Montgomery Village spent $20 on a Gold Rush 777 scratch-off, the Maryland Lottery said.

She told officials she went home to play the game in a quiet space. When she started scanning it for prizes, she realized she had won more than one prize.

“There were two prizes of $10,000, three prizes of $5,000, 14 $1,000 prizes, one $500 prize and five prizes of $100,” lottery officials said in the news release.

She turned to her husband with the winning ticket.

“I showed my husband and he couldn’t believe his eyes,” she told lottery officials.

The woman said she’s still processing her big win and hasn’t made up her mind on how she will spend the $50,000.

Montgomery Village is about a 45-mile drive southwest from Baltimore.
