Taco Bell fan favorite will return to menus after nationwide vote. Here’s what to know
Taco Bell is bringing back an old favorite not seen in five years, thanks to vocal fans.
The Beefy Crunch Burrito is set to return to participating Taco Bells this summer after a nationwide vote to revive the menu favorite, the restaurant announced.
The entree emerged victorious against the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos and will make its way back to menus in August, for a limited time.
Launched in 2010, the “long-lost” burrito comes with “seasoned beef, Flamin’ Hot Fritos, reduced-fat sour cream, seasoned rice and nacho cheese sauce,” all wrapped in a warm tortilla, according to a product description. It reappeared as a limited-time offer over the years before its last hurrah in 2018.
The news comes just days after Taco Bell announced the return of its classic Nacho Fries.
Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
The burrito isn’t the only fan favorite making its way back to menus. Starting April 13, the Grilled Cheese Burrito is available to order at Taco Bell for a limited time, the restaurant announced. Customers have their choice of original seasoned beef, or steak.
