See what Florida store sold Friday’s $1.3 million lottery winning ticket
A Florida Lottery draw game player became a millionaire Friday night.
That didn’t come from the Mega Millions game, which will have a $195 million jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing. Both the Fantasy 5 jackpots, the midday and the evening drawings, rolled over to Saturday.
But a Jackpot Triple Play participant at a New Port Richey 7-Eleven, 4540 Rowan Rd., chose the Quick Pick option, and the machine chose the lucky sextet of 3, 8, 17, 21, 31 and 38. That’s a $1.3 million winning ticket.
The Florida Lottery says a winning ticket of over $1 million must be cashed at the main Florida Lottery office in Tallahassee, 250 Marriott Dr., but have also told of such tickets being cashed at one of the nine district offices. The closest office in this case would be just about 43 miles away in Tampa, Centerpoint Business Park, 1911 U.S. 301 N, and can be reached at 813-744-6134 or TAMRC@flalottery.com.
