A Publix sold Wednesday’s only major Florida Lottery winning draw ticket

There are seven drawings among the Wednesday major Florida Lottery games — Fantasy 5, Florida Lotto, Powerball, Cash4Life — but only one jackpot got drained this week.

It wasn’t the Powerball big prize, which will be up to $629 million on Saturday’s pull.

The lone jackpot winner took the day’s first game, the Fantasy 5 midday draw, which came up 3, 6, 9, 10 and 19. A player at the Publix at Dames Point, 7117 Merrill Rd. in Jacksonville, chose those numbers and won $54,091.

This ticket has to be cashed at a Florida Lottery office, the nearest of which to that Publix is 8206 Philips Hwy. in Jacksonville. It can be reached at 904-448-4760 or JACRC@flalottery.com. Offices are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments can be made, but walk-ins are accepted.
