Powerball jackpot reaches $510 million

With no winner in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, the jackpot keeps going up.

Saturday night’s drawing will have an estimated jackpot of $510 million.

However, the new jackpot is far from being the record, which was a whopping $1.5 billion shared by winners in Florida, Tennessee and California on January 13, 2016, according to the Florida Lottery.

Wednesday’s jackpot was an estimated $430 million. It was the 19th drawing since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold, according to Bay News 9.

Powerball is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, tickets cost $2 per play. Adding a Power Play to the ticket will bring the cost to $3. Tickets can be purchased until 10 p.m. on drawing nights.

The drawing is held at 10:59 p.m.
