Lane closures expected as University Parkway diverging diamond interchange construction continues

UNIVERSITY PARK -- Lane closures will be in place on Interstate 75 southbound at the University Parkway interchange this week.

As part of the construction on the diverging diamond interchange, there will be temporary single and double lane closures on I-75 southbound at University Parkway beginning at 8 p.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Tuesday. Double lane closures begin at 10 p.m.

For the remainder of the week, there will be temporary intermittent single lane closures on the I-75 southbound off-ramp at University Parkway. These closures, which will last through Thursday night, will be between 9 a.m. and 7 a.m.

The lane closures are part of the diverging diamond interchange construction, which is expected to be completed in fall 2017.
