Semi crash blocks traffic on busy Bradenton street, police say
Two northbound lanes of First Street were briefly blocked Wednesday after a crash involving a semitrailer and a vehicle, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
There were no reported injuries, police said in a post on social media platform X .
According to police spokesperson Meredith Censullo, the collision occurred at about 1:40 p.m. near the 13th Avenue intersection, near the RaceTrac gas station and the Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
Officers were on scene directing traffic until lanes reopened around 2:30 p.m., the police department said.
