Lanes reopen on Interstate 75 in Manatee County after traffic delays, troopers say

A southbound lane on Interstate 75 near State Road 70 re-opened Wednesday morning after a crash involving at least one injury, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Florida Highway Patrol says troopers were dispatched at 9:10 a.m. to a crash on I-75 near mile marker 215 in Bradenton. Live traffic camera video showed the right lane blocked as traffic slowly moved through the area, but FHP traffic maps show the lane re-opened Wednesday morning.

According to the Florida Department of Transportation’s FL511 website, there were major delays in the area, but traffic is flowing smoothly as of 11:20 a.m.

Further information about the crash was not immediately available.
