Haben Boulevard, a US 41 and 301 connector in Palmetto, is closing for construction
Drivers who travel Haben Boulevard in Palmetto for their daily commute will have to find another route to reach U.S. 41 and 301 over the next month.
The Palmetto Police Department posted on Facebook on Monday that the road and sidewalk would be closed for construction starting Tuesday, May 16, and that drivers will need to find alternate routes.
The Bradenton Area Convention Center, homes, an assisted living facility and the Manatee School of the Arts are all located along Haben Boulevard.
For safety, the police are asking drivers to slow down in construction zones for the safety of the workers and themselves.
The road is expected to reopen on June 16 when construction is done, according to the post.
