Two people seriously injured in head-on crash in Bradenton, FHP says
Two people were seriously injured in a head-on crash on 26th Street West in Manatee County, the Florida Highway Patrol said Wednesday in a press release.
The crash happened at 11 p.m. on 26th Street West near 46th Avenue West in Bradenton.
A 31-year-old man from Bradenton in a Ford F-150 pickup was traveling north in the southbound travel lane of 26th Street West, while a 30-year-old woman from Venice was in a sedan-type vehicle traveling south on the same street, the release said.
Both drivers hit the front of the other vehicle.
They both suffered serious injuries during the crash and were taken to Blake Medical Center for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
