A 36-year-old Bradenton woman is in critical condition after a crash on Interstate 75 overnight, Florida Highway Patrol said on Friday morning.

At 1:45 a.m., the woman was heading north driving an Infinity Q50 in the right lane of the interstate at about mile marker 218 — just north of the State Road 70 exit — when she lost control in a curve.

The car went off the road into the shoulder and crashed into a tree and wire fence.

The woman was taken to Blake Medical Center where she is being treated for critical injuries.
