A 53-year-old Ellenton man died in crash in Palmetto on Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At 4:55 p.m., the Ellenton man was riding a motorcycle south on U.S. 41 in the inside lane, south of 43rd Street, when he swerved into the grassy median hitting a yield sign, FHP said in news release late Sunday.
