Pedestrian dies after being hit by SUV in Bradenton, FHP says
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash in Bradenton that happened Thursday evening.
Around 9 p.m., a man was walking in the grass, on the north side of 26 Avenue East, FHP said in a news release.
When he crossed onto the westbound lane near Maple Drive, he was hit by an SUV.
He died at the site of the crash.
Officials are still trying to identify him, FHP said.
