Two Interstate 75 on-ramps will close temporarily overnight Tuesday in Manatee County, the Florida Highway Patrol said Monday evening.

Access to most of the northbound and southbound on-ramps will be closed at State Road 70, a major east-west road in the Bradenton area.

However, one on-ramp will remain open, for those driving east on SR 70.

The shutdown will start at 10 p.m. Tuesday and end at 5 a.m. Wednesday.

To get to I-75 during the closure, drivers traveling west on SR 70 should make a u-turn at Tara Boulevard and take SR 70 east to the on-ramp.

Drivers who need to travel I-75 north must follow detour signs or take a different route to access an on-ramp.
