Pedestrian from Ellenton dies after being hit by 2 SUVs in Citrus County, FHP says

A 45-year-old Ellenton man was killed Monday night in Citrus County after being hit by two SUVs, a Florida Highway Patrol report said.

The Ellenton man was standing or walking on U.S. 41, south of Airport Road, when two different SUVs struck him, FHP said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The drivers were both from Floral City. One was a 59-year-old female and the other SUV was driven by a 30-year-old female with a 1-year-old passenger, FHP said.

No other details were provided.
