Traffic crash shuts down part of State Road 64 East in Bradenton

A traffic crash has shut down the eastbound lanes of State Road 64 East over the Braden River, according to Bradenton police.

Shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday, police tweeted that eastbound State Road 64 was shut down between 29th Street East and Carlton Arms Boulevard.

About 1 a.m. Thursday, police said the roadway had been reopened.

Other details about the crash were not immediately available.

We are on the scene of a vehicle crash. Eastbound Lanes of SR 64 E from 29th St E through Carlton Arms Blvd will be closed during this time. Please avoid the area if possible, and watch out for Officers. Check back for updates
