Motorcyclist dead following Bradenton U.S. 41 crash
MANATEE -- A 29-year-old man is dead after another man turned left in front of his motorcycle on U.S. 41 on Sunday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A Bradenton man driving a Chrysler Town and Country was stopped in the northbound left turn lane at 7:26 p.m. about to turn into a driveway access road in the 5100 block of 14th Street West, according to a release.
A man, who troopers are not publicly identifying yet, was driving a motorcycle southbound on the same street.
The Bradenton man started turning left and entered the path of the motorycle, which collided with the right side of the vehicle, according to the report.
The motorcyclist, though he was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead on scene. The driver of the Town and County had minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
