Bradenton fire destroys shed

MANATEE -- A shed in Bradenton was completely engulfed in flames and destroyed Wednesday night, according to the Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue.

Firefighters resonded to the 2600 block of Cortez Road West at 11:45 p.m. for a structure fire, according to a release. They found a detached metal shed in the lot ablaze and brought the fire under control within five minutes.

Cedar Hammock is still investigating the cause of the fire. The shed and its contents were a "total loss."

There were no reported injuries.
