Missing 12-year-old Bradenton boy found unharmed

MANATEE -- A 12-year-old Manatee County boy who was reported missing on Saturday has been found unharmed, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Mario Chandler was reported missing at 6 p.m. Saturday by his mother, Carly Chandler. She said Mario Chandler failed to return home from school Friday to a residence in the 6400 block of Ninth Street East.

Initially, she had no concerns and decided to wait until Saturday afternoon to report him, according to the report.

Deputies did not detail where Mario Chandler was found Monday morning, only that he was unharmed.
