Bayshore's district semifinal volleyball match postponed

MANATEE -- Fans looking to see No. 2-seeded Bayshore in the Class 5A-District 11 volleyball semifinals will need to wait an extra day. Due to transportation issues on Tuesday, the St. Petersburg Gibbs and Tarpon Springs quarterfinal was pushed to Wednesday. Since the Bruins await the winner of that match in Bradenton, they are being bumped to Thursday at 7 p.m. at Bayshore.

The district championship match, which was originally slated for Thursday, is being moved to next Monday at a site to be determined. Meanwhile, Southeast's semifinal match at No. 1-seeded Dunedin is still scheduled for tonight.
