Dead man washes ashore between Casey Key, Siesta Key

SARASOTA -- A death investigation is underway after a dead man washed ashore between Casey Key and Siesta Key, according to Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

The body was found about 2:30 p.m. Thursday along the shoreline with no identification, according to the news release.

No other information was immediately available.
