Man robbed at gunpoint outside Bradenton bar

BRADENTON -- A man told police he was robbed at gunpoint outside the Gator Lounge early Thursday, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

The victim flagged down an officer at 12:38 a.m. and told officers he had been robbed at gunpoint behind the Gator Lounge, 1814 14th St. W., according to a report.

He told officers a man had brandished a firearm and demanded his wallet about 10 to 15 minutes earlier. He was not injured.

No description of the robber was provided.
