Manatee deputies investigating death of woman in her 40s

MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation after the body of a woman was found in a garage.

According to sheriff's office spokesman Dave Bristow, deputies are conducting the investigation in the 6300 block of 11th Street Court East, Bradenton.

"The victim is a female in her 40s who was found dead in the garage," Bristow wrote.

The sheriff's office said more information will be released as it becomes available.
