Yoga program to begin in Sarasota
SARASOTA -- Inner Engineering, a four-day self-transformation yoga program, will be presented Thursday through Sunday at Columbus Hall, 4880 Fruitville Road, Sarasota.
Inner Engineering is a comprehensive yoga practice whose goal is a deep and lasting personal transformation, helping practitioners break through personal limitations, establishing health and vitality, mental calm and clarity, and a deep sense of joy, according to a news release.
Participants in the Sarasota program will learn a balanced set of simple but powerful yoga practices for inner growth from an accomplished and experienced instructor, who has been trained by Sadhguru Vasudev, the founder of Isha Foundation.
The sessions are: 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday (includes a vegetarian lunch) and 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, which includes a vegetarian breakfast and lunch.

Four Pillars wellness center opens
LAKEWOOD RANCH -- Four Pillars, which offers health and wellness services for mind, body and spirit at 8209 Nature's Way, Suite 221, Lakewood Ranch, is hosting its grand opening, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 9 in San Marco Plaza.

'All About NAMI' at Sarasota library
SARASOTA -- A Gulf Gate Public Library educational speaker's series will kick off with "All About the National Alliance on Mental Illness and Defining Mental Illness."
The first speech in the series is set for 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13 at Gulf Gate Library, 7112 Curtiss Ave., Sarasota.
Mark E. Mathisen, president of the board of directors for NAMI Sarasota County, will share the NAMI experience. The NAMI speaker series is free and open to the public. Information: namisarasotacounty.org.
