Kennysha Polk, 16, and a junior at a Bayshore High School, has been in journalism three years.

"I really enjoy journalism because it gives me an opportunity to communicate with people I don't know and make new friends. It gives me a chance to see how people feel about activities and events at BHS. I plan to stay in journalism for my senior year and perhaps study journalism in college."
