Manatee County School District to host parent meeting about online learning

BRADENTON -- The School District of Manatee County's Office of District Support invites parents of students ranging from kindergarten to grade 12 to attend a Virtual Education Informational Meeting.

Topics will include the different types of virtual education, student eligibility, curriculum, course offerings, and student and teacher expectations. Presenters will include the District Support Director and Specialist as well as virtual teachers and parents of virtual education programs.

The meeting is scheduled for May 10, at the school district's Professional Support Center from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
