MTC approved to offer Certified Professional Coder exam

BRADENTON -- Manatee Technical College has been approved by the AAPC as a test site for the Certified Professional Coder exam, officials announced.

The CPC certification is a nationally recognized certification for medical coders in physicians' offices and a variety of other health-care settings. The AAPC is formerly known as the American Academy of Professional Coders.
